May 22, 2025, 2:57 AM. I'm not even gonna lie to you. I kind of missed this being up late, grinding, trap'n it out.
Staying focused, getting $#!* done. It's just something about it. Why I'm up right now?
I found myself going down a rabbit hole. It started with me just looking over the social media part, you know, checking PYREX Instagram. And then I just, something just said, check the Facebook, and it didn't, it didn't sit right with me.
Then I checked another social media page, down That didn't look right. And I'm like, "Oh, man. Do I really want to do this.
Yes. Yes, I do. I'm not sure what time frame you're listening to this or why are you even listening to these recordings.
If social media is not a thing anymore, let me tell you what social media is in this current day and time. Social media is the thing. It is... it.
It's one of those things that if you want to do something to be somebody or be known. If you're not on it, then you're missing out and you're kind of delaying your success. It's various things.
Photos, video, text, some of its business, some is fun, how to's, the whole nine. So you have Instagram, Facebook, TikTok. Boy, oh, boy, TikTok.
I'm not sure where you're listening to this from, but TikTok has been a thing here in the U.S. Like to the point, it was getting banned and all that. I don't even know if it still might be getting banned. What's going on with that?
Who's going to purchase it, whatever? That's like a whole thing. I might touch on it later. down the line.
But it's that. There's X, which used to be Twitter, but then Elon Musk had brought it and he turned it in X. Again, I'm not sure when you're listening to this, but Tesla might still be a thing at the time of you're hearing this because Elon Musk is also also big on space and all that. So you're probably on, like a Space X spaceship or some $#!*t, whatever the case may be.
Or like one of the Tesla flying cars or something who knows? And now to compete with X, there's thread, which is also owned by Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram. It's a whole thing.
Then there's LinkedIn. Well LinkedIn is like LinkedIn is like the stepchild of social media, to be honest. It's one of those business things.
It's one of the things that people do take serious, but don't take serious and it's a big thing, but it's not. It's just one of those. What else?
It's Pinterest and Fanbase. Hopefully Fanbase has blown up by the time you heard this. But that's, again, if social media is a thing, if it's not, then, yeah, it never even.. got but so far.
But right now, currently, I'm not focusing on all social media platforms because that'll be drainful. And a lot, yeah, and right now it's just me doing this on my own solo creating and coming up with everything, which led me down to the rebel hold and why I'm up late right now.
So the Instagram and look, and like I said, I want to go and started messing with the Facebook. And then once I got the Facebook together, I said, let me look over the YouTube. And the YouTube wasn't right.
So now everything, everything aligns and it looks good. And it's familiar, you know what I'm saying? Like, when you go here, go there, it's like, okay, it looks the same icon, the same banner the same, message the same name, name the same, the whole nine links the same, everything like that.
And for me, I think that's one of the things of what people like me and creatives, like, basically when you're good at something, you think nothing of that $#!*.
But then it's honestly someone who's having a hard time even getting this together or making their brand or their name like tell a consistent story all through online and social media. So that's why it's, for me, it's like, shit, I do it $#!*, and I do it, it's not that big of a deal.
But in reality, it's that big of a deal. And I like how it turned out right now. Like I said, everything looks good.
Um, yeah, I'm pretty proud of it. I like the look and feel of it. I guess I got to just continue to make this content put it out there.
YouTube is the one that's really going to be like the... because that involves like videos and all that type $#!*. Oh, here's another reason why social media is so big in my era, and my time. They pay you and some say they pay you well.
I'm not too sure about that. And when I say I'm not too sure about that, meaning I don't have the experience of that. I'm usually coughing up the money to them when I worked on projects and helping brand his brand themselves.
But there are individuals who do get paid some nice residuals from it. Now, streaming oh, yeah, that's another platform. It's well, Twitch is that's a whole other thing, but it's social media, but it's not really, it's like a whole streaming platform where people are even playing games or delivering news or just inviting you into their life and etc.
They pay you well, right? There are many people that's been paid nicely, I'm talking about. became millionaires all off it. Same thing with YouTube.
I'm not too many sure I'm not too many sure. That don't even make... That's how you know I'm up late..
But I'm not too sure if Instagram has ever made millionaires as far as like paying them out. People has become famous over Instagram and etc. But I'm not too sure if it, like, gave millions or anything.
I think Facebook has, like, tossed out like a couple of hundred thousand 10,000 and anything like that. Me, it's not really a thing for me to get paid from these platforms. I'm doing it because like I told you in the beginning, this is just a part of the growth and the growth marketing, promoting, and then just putting yourself out there.
It actually just made it easier and what used to be affordable from going from print app ads and doing flyers and magazine and search and all that type. But digital ads is now becoming pricey up there. It's like a a play-to- play game.
Then you got the algorithm. That's That's a whole different ball game and probably like 30 to 59 minutes each even telling you about that. So something else I might do down the line.
But I like how the PYREX Project is looking across social media right now. I do. I really do.
I hope that the people, I guess, enjoy it or like it as much as I do.. Or, I did, whatever the case may be. But regardless, I got to keep pushing, getting it out there, and seeing what happens.
