May 23rd, 2025. So how do we get here?
It's probably what you're wondering. Well, long story short, I just wanted to go legit, and that was it. You just get tired of running the streets, dealing with illegal activities, illegal products the whole nine.
Like, I don't care how much money you do make, don't make, Eventually, it gets tired for like so many reasons. I make contracting for like seven to eight years now, and I believe. And the money was good, you know what I'm saying?
Projects was good. I got to work with some of the best brands and companies ever helping them do their thing. But at the end of the day, it's a contract.
A contract got to come to an end. It's very few times where you're going to get fully hired after it, especially if it's like short. They just feel like it's too much to pay you from what... from what they're paying others or they can hire someone else, even if they're not as qualified or as good as you.
So with that it's just like, just try to get a job. After my last one, I was like, man, I'm just done with anything. You know what I'm saying
Not like done in life, but like I'm, I'm miserable or like depressed or anything. It's more so like, I just want to change. Maybe it's meant for me to do things differently this time.
Go & get a get a job. It's easy money. A person like me, my job is easy money.
On top of that, like, I'm one of the best at what I do. I'm damn near Godly at it. And like, right now, it's hard to get a job, especially if you're black.
But it's hard to get a job, period. But especially if you're black, it's just a lot, a lot that goes against you, you know, what I'm saying? And the crazy part is, right?
Especially if you're like, overly qualified or highly qualified. It's one of them things where, especially in my case, and I just came of realization to this, it's like, you're feared. They really fear you.
And some people just think that you want their job, you going to replace them. I'll work them, the whole nine. And that's not really like the case, you know what I'm saying?
In your mind. At least for me, I say, you just trying to work. You're just trying to handle biz.
You're trying to get this money. That's it. You're just trying to meet them look good, get in, do your job, get out, and that's it.
Live your life. Don't care about replacing you. Don't care about doing whatever.
And see, the thing is, is that the reason why for me, I'm not trying to replace anybody or get you fired because that's taking food from your mouth, money from you, and your family, your friends, whatever that you want to do do. I'm just trying to be ear handle business and just do what I do. You know what I'm saying?
And in some cases, you know what I'm saying? You just be over qualified. And I just recently got done with a job, a contract, whatever the case may be.
It was like 90 days and did my thing. And the crazy part is, though, when I got on, when I started, the company for what I was hired to do, they didn't have their $#!* together.
And you would think that when you bring me a board, you would have your $#!* together.
And I'm just like, okay, I'm just trying to advance and just make sure everything just go better and do better. But I basically had to start from scratch with them, with everything. And I mean everything.
And there's no need to go into details now and I'll probably do that later. But with them and other companies, and I'm talking like small business, big business, middle business, the whole nine, right? They have like these meetings.
And in these meetings, I'm just listening. And I'm just thinking to myself, like, in some cases, because I'm hearing them, they're talking about the numbers, how they're struggling, what they need to work on, how they need to do better, this project woo woo woo. And in my mind, I'm like, you have no idea what you're doing.
Like, they really didn't.. And the thing about it is, is that it's nothing against them, right? It's really not.
But you have no idea of knowing what you're doing. And as a business owner or boss, you have to take the Henry Ford route. Henry Ford knew what he wanted and he had his idea. and he knew what he was capable of.
And for everything else, he had people that he hired. They were on their $#!* and he allowed them to do their $#!*. And so what I've learned over these past few years is that over 10 years, to be honest with you. A lot of these CEO's, presidents, vice presidents, CFOs, and the whole nine, some of them just be struggling millionaires, and they just hire you to make money. You hear what I'm saying? They hire you to make them money.
And the thing is, is that some of them just think they know what they're doing or they just stubborn and and it's just when you know what you're doing, it puts you in a bad position in a bad place, especially as an employee. And it just don't sit right in some cases and you just know that, okay, eventually this company is going to crumble. It's going to fall or he's going to let you go.
It's going to be like, whatever the case may be. And the thing is, for me, when I was with some of these companies, especially, like the last one, something that Bob Proctor had said that came into mind. Like, honestly, like, if, you don't listen, I fire you.
I just left let him go. That's what he said. Like, if you hire me to do my job, and you're not allowing me to do my job.
I don't care what we agreed upon. If you don't allow me to do my job, because I'm here to help you, you put me here for a reason. Let me do me and then you'll see the growth.
But if you don't, I'm just going to let you go. He would fire your companies. And he's like, and they don't get their money back or nothing.
It's just like, it's it. It's done. And I understood where he was coming from because it's like, that is, it's frustrating.
It's frustrating to know what you're doing and how you're doing it and to hear from people that don't know how to do your job, telling you what they should be seeing or results or whatever the case in being. It's like, well, if you thought of that, then why haven't you've done it? Why bring me on in the first place?
It truly just, it makes no sense. At this point, it's one of those things that if I'm as good as I say I am, then it's time for me to do me. Because Because you get tired of having these contracts or these jobs where, you know, they come to an end or they just let you go for whatever reason. And it's like, man.
I can't I can't afford that. I can't have that happening. You know what I'm saying?
So if I'm as good, if I think I'm as good as I say I am, and for me, see, this is this is the thing for me. I can't speak about everyone. I can't speak for everyone.
The reason why I say that is because I don't just have the skills and experience as a designer, as a creative. I have the marketing, sales, business, and creative side. So that's why I say, if I believe it that I'm as good as I say I am and I know I am, then it's time for me to prove that.
It's time for me to put in the work and it make $#!* happen. Because thinking about it, like, the difference between an employee and an entrepreneur is that for the employee, you're just helping another company evolve, make money, do better, look better. As an entrepreneur, you're making your company, your goal, your business, your what might be right now in the side of hustle, grow, and you just take on everything and the responsibilities and you oversee everything.
Now, the thing is, though, when you're an entrepreneur and you're working for others, you never leave that entrepreneur mindframe. You don't. It's just in you.
It's just something about you. Employees can't see things as an entrepreneur. But an entrepreneur can see things as employees and a business owner. So it's usually sometimes a conflict there, and that's why some of the best entrepreneurs that you see in some of the best business owners that you have, they where they at because it didn't work out for them, with school, a job, or any of that.
It's like they knew they can be better, do better than have better. And so that's where I'm at. And you, you got to think about it like this, right?
Why do you want a job? In your mind? Or why do you need a job?
Just human. This is human. This just has nothing to do with employee, creative, entrepreneurs or none of that.
Why do you want to a job? Why do you want to get these jobs, right? You want a job to give you money and you think you're trying to get hired so you can be financially straight with the job, right?
Because you believe that they got it. But sometimes they don't. And all they did was go and get loans and get investors and, etc.
But sometimes they struggling just like you. They just their struggle is more broad. It's bigger because they have certain people and certain things that answer to, certain corporations, certain businesses that answer to, like the bank, investors, IRS, all that.
When you... you just have the landlord, the property manager, the bills, the phone bills, the water company, heating company, utilities and all that, the answer to, not too much, you know what I'm saying? And the bank, your car loans, and all that type of $#!*. So if you see it as an employee mindframe and then also say it as an entrepreneur mindframe, as the employee, you like, like this company getting money or they should be able to have me straight.
Now if you're in that position and you're hearing these things, right, and you're witnessing how to cover is struggling and doing whatever, but you also know how businesses go and how they do things and how CEOs, whatever, get their money. It's like we said, it's investments, it's loans and all that type $#!*, right? Now switch from it from the employee to the entrepreneur, mindframe.
It might be easy for you. It might be harder for you. And the thing is, is that the weight and the scale from easy to hard it relies on numerous things.
It could be you have bad credit, you have no funds, you have no resources. You have lack of knowledge. You don't know how to go about certain things.
And if you have all of those things combined, it's going to be really, really hard. Damn there impossible, it seems. But it's not.
The only difference is from them and you is that you got to go and do it, just like how they did it. And you don't you don't know. Sometimes they probably was in a worse predicament than you and they just found some way to get out of it.
Now, the catch 22 of that, it goes back to the whole race thing. Like, if the white, Asian Indian, sometimes Hispanic, it's like, okay, they get a couple of more doors open and a couple of resources and a better way to go about things, especially if they come here in the U.S because they have so much things for outsiders and I have nothing against them. Like, take advantage of the system.
That's what the system is here for. You do you, a, more power to you, because it's not their fault that we have things in place to help them grow, the more so than to help us. It's our government.
It's our system fault. So for us and then, especially for blacks, it's like, it's so many things that get, it's so many obstacles that get placed there. That's another story But to stay on point.
You can do it. You can make it happen. It just might not be as easy.
And then think of it as also, okay, when you go to work or you have work, you have a job, you got your boss, you manage, your coworkers. Just switch that as an entrepreneur, then you got your partners, you got your employees, interns, whatever case may be, it just depends on the level that you're trying to do things that you're trying to start it. And see, for me, I'm gonna be honest with you.
I can never see a manager as my boss or call him a boss. Hell, there's some bosses I wouldn't even call a boss. And see, as an employee, you call people boss or the boss.
Sometimes you be funny. And sometimes it's just like just because they have a higher ranking than you and they have their title. Yeah, that title, you think because their title is over you and whatever that they are, that they're your boss. Me, I don't see that.
Like, you're just my manager, supervisor, whatever the case may be. Because as a boss, when you're a boss, you're able to provide for the people under you and not just financially. Like, you make sure that they're good and they're treated well and that you treat them well and that's how the business and everything grows and that's how you are able to do what you got to do and you know how to lead them and you're leading them because it as a boss is what you do, you lead them in the right direction and you also just let them do them.
You hired them to do them. You let them do them, and you're proud of what they do. It's not too many, managers and like I said, even real bosses that can even say that Because as a manager and supervisor, sometimes they're struggling just as much as their employee.
They're coworker, their peers. And regardless of what the title say, sometimes they are peers. They just only get paid about $5 more, $10 more.
But regardless of what, sometimes they struggling just like the people under them. So I can't really see you as my boss or the boss because you're not comfortable. You're not even, you're not even in the position or the place to even take care of me to make sure that I'm straight.
So I could I see you as the boss. I can't. As matter of fact, sometimes I'm probably going to surpass you and surpass the person that's over you.
So I really can't do that. Now, the reason why I'm doing this project and I'm going about it the way that I want to do it, is that I don't want to provide a service. You know what I'm saying?
I want to sell products. Like, I don't want to be hired to make someone else website. Make someone else e-commerce site.
Make someone else, flyer, banner, posters, product, marketing material. None of that. I want to do it for myself, my own products.
Something that I'm doing, but what I'm doing is, I'm welcoming the public to see me do this. I'm showing you how to build a brand and how to do business. And it's not behind some paid wall or anything like that.
It's open. And that's the thing about those that want to make it and those that don't. And the employee and the entrepreneur, you see an employee mindframe is not going to take advantage of this.
It's going to be too much for them. But the entrepreneur that want to go and do things. Man, they going to, they going eventually once they catch wind of what I'm doing and how I'm doing it, I'm literally giving you my blueprint because everybody has a story.
All great people have a story and they start it here and there. The difference between the ones that's up there now is like eventually you might get a biography on them, a documentary movie, woo woo woo, all that. But this one, and I think this is like the first this is in real time.
I'm building this in real time. And I'm not saying that in some cases it hasn't been done because there are people, especially like streamers, like you've seen them if you was a part of their career or you supported them from the beginning, you can see their growth, but they didn't show you or breakdown. A lot of things that they were doing behind the scenes and all that or what was going on.
This right here, and the reason for these recordings, is I'm telling you and I'm letting you in my thought process or why I did this and how I did this. And then on top of that, I'm putting out the proof and I'm showing you how to do things. I'm answering the questions that you probably have from social media to e- commerce, to business, to branding to all that it's going to be like right there for you.
And these are the things that I was always hired to do for these Fortune 500 companies and these small and big businesses. But there's always been a thing where at the end of the day I get handed to Shortstick or I'm back to square one and trying to figure $#!* out. You know what I'm saying?
And at some point that just that doesn't become fair to you anymore. With this right here, I'm going to do me. Because this is not like the first brand, business idea, hustle, whatever the case, whatever you want to call it.
This is not like my first rodeo.. Like, I' I've been set up certain businesses, been branding stuff, creating products, services, the whole nine. The difference between between the past and this time, there is no plan B, C, D, EFG woo woo woo, none of that.
This is it for me. This is plan A, and I'm sticking to it until it makes it. Until I get where I want to be. And I'm going to be making adjustments here and there.
Because I'm not going to be stubborn or have a big ego. Like this ain't working out, but I'm still doing it the same way. No, I'm going back.
I'm going to recalculate, re-strategize. Okay, boom, let's do it this way. But this is what, what I'm doing.
And I'm not stopping. I'm not moving on unlike I did with my past. And the reason why I had a I had a lot of great ideas growing up and even up until this point.
And there's certain reasons where I stopped. One is because of the whole.. whole fame thing. And just sometimes what certain things I would get into, I realized you would have to show up a lot for others and you have to put yourself out there.
I'm not that type of person. Even if you know me personally, you know, I'm quiet. I keep to myself.
I don't really bother people. I'm not that much of a funny guy. You know what I'm saying?
I'm not saying I'm not funny. I can't make you laugh, but I'm not a comedian. I'm not like an entertainer or anything. like that.
And so a lot of things and ideas that I had, like, I can put everything together, but I couldn't be consistent with it on top of that. I don't really want you in my business or to know me like that. That's just me.
Other people can do that. But me, that's not one of my strengths. The other thing is, I would I would stop certain things or fall back because the money wasn't coming in or wasn't doing what I needed it to do.
And like other people around me, like, they needed their mouth to be, food on the table, bread and whatever the case may be, I'm like, okay, I can go and get this job, I can go and work for this person, I can do this, I can move on, I can go and start this other project, I get us this bread. And we'll be straight. But it's like, now, nah.
And the other thing, the difference between then and now is that in the past, regardless of what, if certain business or ideas of product didn't move and work out, then for people like me, and it's just like, you're going to always go back to drugs.
Like drugs was always an option and you know you can move it and you know you can get money from that, no matter the amount a quick 50 hundred thousand, 500, 5,000, two bands, whatever, three bands, four, six, whatever. You know you can get it. This time, I'm not doing that.
And I think a lot of people don't want to do that themselves. They're tired as well. It's like, I don't want to have to result to that.
I'm better than that. Then there's other people that's proven that it's other ways out and they're making it. And sometimes you just, and you feel like they're not even as smart as me, as creative as me or really know what I I know. Why haven't I done it? Difference between you and them and me and them, they kept at it.
They grew, they stuck with it. They was consistent. They put themselves out there.
They bet on themselves. And that's the only thing. And no matter what, whether it was the job, the contract, or stopping my business, my dreams, my goals, at the end of the day, it was only me being left, broke and figuring it out, but still having in my mind that damn, I still got to do what I got to do to take care of others, though.
So that's why it's like now, like nah, like I'm not listening to nobody. I can't consider anything that's not aligned my dreams, my goals, my vision, my project. Like, no, because at the end of the day, I'm the one that got to deal with the consequences, the struggle, the set back and all that.
No one else, this is on me. So I need to do what I got to do to make this happen. So that's where we at, and on June 20th, 2025, it starts.
We begin, and there's no looking back at all.
